Vampire Kisses: Blood Relatives, Vol. 1 (Vampire Kisses: Blood Relatives #1)
The book I read was Vampire Kisses- Blood Relatives By Ellen Schreiber, as a manga, illustrated by Rem. It was an amazing book, even though its only the first book in a manga series. I liked it, and I want to read more of the manga series, and hopefully the actual written series. Allow me to give you the written descriptions of each character, as this was a very important feature for me, so that I could understand the characters demeanor about certain things. Because of this, I have learned
loved this one! I will buy my own copy one day!

I read this due to a parent complaint in the library. It is a story of a goth girl who wants nothing more than to date a hot vampire. Ta da! She accomplishes it but halfway through the love story a gang of part vampire/humans show up and stir up trouble. There are two pictures of kissing, no swears, no violence. It feels like Twilight manga style. I am not a fan but lots of middle school vampire fans seem to be. 6th grade and up.
Definitely meant for someone who has read the books because the story picks up into the book series. Lost me for a bit.
That was so quick. I want more!!!!
This is a cute little series.

After falling in love with the series despite how corny it is, I dont plan on finishing the manga adaptation. It was terrible, predictable, and just plain awful. I'm not sure how many times I rolled my eyes at the plot. Despite that, the illustrations are beautiful! Not my adaptation of the characters, but definitely a good choice in artists!!The book I read was Vampire Kisses- Blood Relatives By Ellen Schreiber, as a manga, illustrated by Rem.
