October Breezes made me lose all my sleep last night..but was it worth it? Of course. October Breezes touches on some very..well touchy subjects. Now I would imagine for an author to write about these touchy subjects they would have to be much more careful with their writing and keep it tasteful..and can I just say that Maria Rachel Hooley does an amazing job at this? I could not put this book down! The story starts with Skye, Skye is a normal 16 yr old girl, but she has trust issues withSeriously is a completely and Amazing Book, the characters and the story... EVERYTHING is just AWESOME. This book marked my life FOREVER.

What to say? This book certainly had some subject matter that will definitely touch a nerve with readers. I don't want to give away the story so I'll try to make this as spoiler free as I can. I started out the book not minding Skye. She was obnoxious as some teenagers are but at first I could understand her fears with Warren dating her Mom since her read Dad left when she was younger. The main character Skye is a girl full of insecurities and has a lot of anger inside her. When her world turns upside down because of one night at a party,, it all blows up in her face. She learns to let go of her anger and be a better person/
This story was recommended to me by the author herself as one of her favorite books/series she has written to-date. I can say that I am tremendously glad that I read it. Maria Hooley has a writing style that I find very easy to read and her characters are always endearing. I fell in love with this story because some of Skye's issues hit very close to home. Skye pissed me off throughout the whole damn book.I seriously just wanted to punch her in the face oh my god.I hate this book. HATE. IT.
