So Awesome!I have now read 8 books in the Baxter Family series and can't wait to start #9. This book had a lot of unexpected events, but some of the ones you expected to happen finally did. Love this series and this family!!I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars, I loved it. And I cried sooo much during this book. I also stayed up till after 12 every night this week because I was THAT addicted to this book! I love Karen Kingsbury's books!
4.5. Yes!!!!! Ive finally hit the first climax in the series. John Baxter and Dayne Matthews FINALLY meet. This book felt to me, more complete than the others. Then again, it dealt with issues and problems and relationships from the first two books.
Read the other books in the series first. Its another great installment.
I loved this book!! I love the story!! can't wait to read the next book in the series!! Glad John and Dayne met!! I hope he gets to meet the rest of the family soon!!
I think I like this one the best of the Firstborn series...not sure how she can top it. Lots of powerful emotion from Dayne discovering he was a father, to his miraculous salvation experience, to his reuniting with his earthly father (FINALLY) as well as to the Baxter reunion, Ashley's troubled delivery, and the arrival of the worst tornadoes to ever come to the Bloomington area! Can't wait to read the rest of the series.
Loved Daynes jouney!!!! Karen does such a great job of showing how awesome our God really is! Yes, its just a book but God does work in such beautiful ways. I love suspense that she weaves in, too! I have never read so much; 10 books in the last year. Thanks Karen for sharing your gift!!!
