IN THE GOD'S HANDS Five friends continue their desperate search for Princess Sakura's memories, which have been scattered across parallel worlds in the form of magically potent feathers. But this time Syaoran and Sakura are pulled from a tumultuous land where two factions battle over a statue of the God of Calamity - and into the realm of that very divinity! Now they find themselves on one side of a long, bloody conflict between two gods and their minions. Unfortunately the experienced fighters in their band, Fai and Kurogane, seem to be aligned with the opposition. In a war that can be ended only by the death of a god, how can Syaoran and Sakura hope to stay alive?

Assessment Regarding Books Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, Vol. 09 (Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE #9)
Five friends continue their desperate search for Princess Sakuras memories, which have been scattered across parallel worlds in the form of magically potent feathers.Leading the quest is young Syaoran, desperate to restore the girl he loves, even though the price he has paid Yuko the Time Witch means that Sakura will remember nothing of their earlier friendship. One of the delights for CLAMP fans in reading Tsubasa is wondering which favourite characters from other series such as X, Chobits and,

See my review for volume 1.

This volume had some nice twists to it not present in the series thus far (i.e. are the Kurogane and Fai in the Country of Shura the real ones or are they copies that only exist in that country? If they're the real ones, what's happened to them?) We also get a hint that Yuko might be a little more good than neutral.I'm kind of confused, though, about the nature of Syaoran's sacrifice to Yuko. Sakura clearly loves Syaoran, so why is it that her memories only disappear when she thinks in terms of

Amazing Twists and the person in the tank has a name and they are connected to a certain person. Also, Syaoran's right eye is emphasized more and it was surprising to me. I like the whole storyline with the past and present thing. Also, its interesting to learn about Syaoran's past because nothing is known about him in the beginning so they're showing more of his background.:)

Some of the battle scenes were hard to make sense of due to the art and lack of color.

This series rocks! I like the "white pork bun" Mokonda and Fay the hyper spazz magician. ^____^

Time lines changes :D
