Commentary About Books The Raven Prince (Princes #1)
Huh. It was cute and had some funny moments. The monkey is right. It was fine. Not life-changing or anything, but okay. But, sheesh, talk about unrealistic, "out there", not-in-a-million-years would this happen stuff. There was a lot of crazy things going on in this story. Even so, I could give it points for never getting boring.Okay, maybe it wasn't THAT crazy, but still.

I enjoyed this one. I love a strong heroine. Of course, he doesn't have fair hair in the book ... Raven ... hint there Mo? What the heck. It is Friday night. I am tired after a long week of work! "A good garden can always be restored ..." Oh, how she wanted this man! She wanted to hold him like this tomorrow and fifty years hence. She wanted to be by his side every morning when he woke, she wanted his to be the last voice she heard before she fell asleep at night.

4 StarsElizabeth Hoyt has been on my TBR list for historical romance authors for sometime now. When Im in a Historical Romance binge, Im in it. I like to read series for days. Anyhow, I liked the Raven Prince. I did find it a bit wordy at times and a little too descriptive, but the overall story, angst, and characters were my jam.Its a meaty book and I did read it in two days. The thing that got me was the storyline, although there was a part I wasnt fond of, thankfully it wasnt the FULL story

Ah, more corset stuff. I REALLY liked this one though, the dialogue and characters were fun. Totally unbelievable plot twists at times, but whatever, if you go with it it's fun. I would sign up this author as a guilty pleasure in the future. Like I said in another review, I haven't listed a lot of these corset books I've read lately because most of them are snoozers. This one's writing was very enjoyable and good enough to note for those who want to read smutty corset romance. Also has some

Instagram || Twitter || Facebook || Amazon || PinterestTHE RAVEN PRINCE was the Unapologetic Romance Readers' December book of the month pick, and I barely scraped by, finishing the book on December 29th. But I did scrape by, and am proud of it! I was initially excited that RAVEN PRINCE had run, because I really liked the other book I'd read in this trilogy, THE LEOPARD PRINCE, and this one was supposed to be even better. Here's the thing about Elizabeth Hoyt - she's really hit and miss. When

I was kind of into this, even though everything about it is ridiculous. I liked Anna. And Edward was saveable. Probably. I'm not a fan of him seeking out a brothel for his frustration in wanting his secretary and feeling constrained by class difference from acting on it. And her seeking him out at this weird upscale sex grotto very nearly worked (which was enough to be going on with). But I couldn't stand the clown Felicity. I hated every PoV switch to show her scheming and I hated that she's

Historical Romance - 3.5 stars! With his hands at the back of his head, squeezing water from his hair, his muscles stood out in sharp relief. The sun glinted off his flexed arms and chest, and his black underarm hair curled damply. Rivulets of grimy water, mixed with blood from ewe, ran down his chest and arms. His low-slung breeches clung to his hips and thighs, delineating the bulge of his manhood. He looked quite pagan. I so wanted to love this book. I really did. But for some unknown
