Narrative As Books Chase the Darkness (Alpha Pack #7)

The author of Wolf’s Fall returns with her “hot and to die for”* Alpha Pack—a top-secret band of Navy SEALs with Psy powers and shifter prowess whose dangerous missions sometimes require a more intimate call to duty… Believed dead by his Pack mates, Micah Chase, a wolf shifter and Dreamwalker, was held captive for months, subject to tortures that left him physically scarred and emotionally unsettled. Now under the care of the Alpha Pack’s doctors, he’s been prescribed an experimental healing drug, but he still can’t shake the nightmares. Even more damning is that Micah’s problems pose a danger to his team, and if he doesn’t get himself under control, they’ll all suffer a terrible fate. There is a key to his salvation. Jacee is a beautiful coyote shifter, and though her kind is hated, she’s falling in love with a man whose very future is in her hands. Together they’ll face his personal demons as well as a deadly enemy—and for both of them desire has never come with such risk. *Dark Faerie Tales

Assess About Books Chase the Darkness (Alpha Pack #7)
We are back in the Alpha Pack world and this is now Micah's turn. Micah was captured and tortured. Since he came back to the pack, he's been struggling. Even sometimes wanting to end it all. He's become addicted to pills to numb the memories of what he was forced to do, and what was done to him. And in the midst of all that, he finds his mate.Jacee is a coyote shifter and she's also a bartender at the local pub, who once had a fling with Jax. The connection between Jacee and Micah is instant

3 1/2 - 4 starsJ.D. Tyler's books are passionate and determined...The Alpha Pack is an amazing Paranormal romance series. A treat for you!

When I realized that this book was centered around Micah I found myself intrigued. Micah is the member of the group that missing and found so damage. I wanted him to get his HEA.I was a bit surprised that JC ended up his mate, not because I didn't like her, but due to her previous involvement with a different member of the group. It definitely caused some friction, but I was glad that they were all able to get past it. JC was great for Micah as she gave him the support that he needed and he gave

Another great addition to this series!Micah is battling the demons of his past as best he can, but it isn't always helping. Dealing with memories and physical reminders of the torture he went through he starts to rely on pills to get him through. Then Jacee comes into his life, his mate, his savior. She has her own horrible past that she has dealt with and she helps Micah take control of his demons. But when an enemy from Micah's past starts making threats, Jacee and Micah have a whole different

This review was originally posted on Addicted To Romance Summary  Micah Chase was taken, tortured and held against his will for months, which left him with haunting memories and being horribly scarred. As he slowly recovers, he is prescribed a certain drug that is to help with the healing of his body. But soon his body becomes dependent on it, even when it doesn't help that much lately. But when he starts acting out in anger and frustration, his team is determined to help him. But Micah

Another great addition to this series. Micah and Jacee feel into their mating very easily, but other things caused the drama in their relationship. Seeing all of the Alpha Pack makes me want to go back and re-read all their HEAs again, especially snarky Aric. Great hints given for at least the next three books. Can't wait!

For the most part this was a good story and a good narration by Margurite Gavin. (audible review)I liked most of this story. I liked Michah for the most part, but sometimes he just didn't seem like an ALPHA type. And he was sick way too much for my taste. I like my hero's be be strong, a bit arrogant and a little cocky, not too much just enough that they seem to be a true alpha or hero type character. This guy had a LOT of issues.Jacee the heroine was okay. Not much depth or character
